First Robotics Campus Event Proposal

Preparation:

• No need to book the room since we are invited to host
  
  

• Send emails to First Robotics McMaster and ECE department to reserve our booth
• Poster and Banner Ready
• Test the currently completed robot and prepare for demo all day long
• Post notifications to all the subteam groups in Microsoft Teams
• Post Facebook Event and Instagram, update the team website
• Set up our booth when arrives at the court

Event Schedule:

• TEAM SOCIAL
  

We will be hosting a Team Social on Friday night from 6:30-8:30pm. There will be information sessions running on mechanical and software design to help teams with future robots. Enjoy tons of free pizza, meet McMaster Engineering club & team members and learn how to take your team’s performance to the next level!

• DEAN’S LIST LUNCH
  

Students nominated by their teams for the Dean’s List Award in 2019 will be treated to lunch with Engineering Faculty members on Saturday, April 6th from 1:30-2:30pm in the Mezzanine.

• TEAM EXPO
  

Our team will be set a booth in the First Robotics Preparation Court as well as the other engineering teams. Get our robots ready for the pass by kids and their parents to try and play! We might get to meet with our future potential Marauders!

• [size=14.6667px]这次First Robotics Competition 参展机会也是受(si)学(pi)校(lai)邀(lian)请 (蹭来的），鉴于之前帮忙拍摄学校Faculty of Engineering的招生宣传视频， 院长很乐意邀请我们团队参与这样的活动。毕竟作为一个高中生机器人创新比赛， 纵观全校所有社团与之最为贴近的也就是我们robomaster了
  

• [size=14.6667px]现场有很多高中生和家长来观看比赛， 因此也是一个宣传我们团队的一个很好机会， 可以说是为下一届招新争得不少生源，毕竟来参加这个比赛的童鞋们怎么能没点本事呢

• [size=14.6667px]一同来参展的还有赛事的赞助商， 这当然是一个招商拉赞助的好机会， 我们也借此得以跟两个本地做金属件加工的厂商接触洽谈
  

• [size=14.6667px]这样炫酷的机器人一旦开放任小孩和家长玩耍的后果就是：往往别的摊位三三俩俩的人， 你的摊位就是一条长龙， 并且非常考验机器人的机械结构及控制系统的耐用性和鲁棒性
  

• 哦对了，事后我们检查机器的事后发现：
  

           麦克纳姆轮脱了一整层胶皮

           是的整整8个小时没停过呢 （电池充了不下四五次）

           哎呀轮子瘦了不少呢(○'ω'○)丿

哈哈哈已经有高中生因此打算报考我们学校了

这个是加拿大的全国机器人大赛分区赛啦
